Irish Trad/Rock?

    Hi all,

    Could anyone suggest any bands that do instrumental trad rock? (i.e. trad with bass, drums, etc)

    Saw a band on grafton street last week doing this and thought it was amazing, would love a cd of this kind of stuff.

    The Rye. They might have been the band you saw!

    Go across the pond and the two obvious ones are Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys.

    Thanks a mill for the recomendations.

    I'm looking for something more instrumental.

    The lads I saw were just playing trad music, but had a bass, acoustic drums, fiddle, flute, etc.

    It's kind of like this stuff that I'm looking for:
