Hi, I notice the likes of William Hill and Paddypower offer a free 25 Euro bet when you sign up with them. However there is a catch, i.e. you have to lodge a bet of 25 and then they'll match it. I don't bet at all, but I wouldn't mind have a free bet. So does anyone know of any online bookies that actually offer a free bet with no catches?

Nope, AFAIK they're all matched bets. No such thing as a free bet really.

Last week at Cheltenham The Star were offering a fiver matched bet with Paddy Power.

You'll get nothing for free these days.

What a lot of them will do is match your 1st 25 bet and then give you another 25 after another 25 bet etc.
Some will advertise bet 50 and get Free 100 but check the T&C's carefully.
Cheltenham & GN are the times to look for offers.

Paddy Power gave me a free tenner bet a day after I signed up to them after they matched my €25 bet.

bet365 are offering to match a deposit of up to £200 for those who open an account, only snag is c + p below, looks good to me

to bet with your bonus, simply play through the amount of your deposit once on the sports and markets of your choice. You will need to play through your deposit and bonus three times prior to making a withdrawal

If you open an Interwetten account and don't deposit they'll give you a free €5 bet after a fortnight or so.
You'll have to upload id if you want to withdraw though.

    Interwetten

At least give some bookies that people may have heard of!
Never liked betting with a company that I've never heard of even if they were giving a Free 20 bet.
If anybody does use a bookies that isn't well established, make sure you pay with a CC, at least you might have some comeback if it does all go pear shaped.

Interwetten are fine, I've been using them for over a year. They have some great odds on foreign soccer, even bigger than betfair sometimes.

Anyway, I wasn't saying to deposit, just open an account and you'll get €5 after a while.
Then if you can turn it into something worth withdrawing, upload a copy of id and your quids in!

With Bet365 do you have to provide a copy of your passport to withdraw? Only have a DebitCard so doesnt act as proof of age unfortunately

Very solid book. Nothing wrong with them.

Good site for checking out bookies you may not have heard of.

bet365 seem to do the best free bets but the whole hassle of withdrawing and passports is a bit offputting

their website is very user friendly and odds def better than powers

opened an account with betpack.com as well, need to enter a code when you sign up, JM205 i got from a lad and it worked

its a matched bet so when you bet 30 you get 30

you can lodge cash through the shops and will be able to withdraw in few weeks once they sort out their systems

all the indos like hacketts, toolans, bamburys, mulhollands and a few others use it so its as handy as boyles

website can be a bit slow though sometimes
