Moving to Kildare, Ireland

Hi - we are hoping to move to Ireland (Kildare) in the next few weeks and I have no idea about how to find a good infant/primary school for my 5 year old daughter. We are considering moving to the Clane/Prosperous area - does anyone know the local schools? Or can you recommend good schools in the county? If necessary, we'll relocate to where the good ones are!
    Really appreciate any advice.

OP can't help you I'm afraid but if you put Kildare into your thread title you might get more views

You could also try posting here on the Kildare forum...

I'm a teacher in Kildare myself, but I don't know the Clane/Prosperous area at all so I can't help you there I'm afraid!

Kildare is a lovely county, best of luck with your move here :)

I'm living in newbridge in kildare, i'm not sure what schools are in the prosprous area, however i do know that in newbridge your children are placed in accordance to your proximity to the school when registering them. There are 5 primary school situated within the town itself and also and Educate Together school, i'm too sure about admissions for Educate Together but proximity rule applies to the other 5.
