Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I'm on my bf's account and am new to here. Is there any way of extracting a backing track from a normal track, ie taking the music ONLY with no vocals from it? Thanks in advance

You could try using the Audacity program to do it:

I'd say you'll still not have exactly a full reduction in them... it'll depend on the song.

Hard to do... you might be lucky if the vocal signal is centred and you can isolate it, but, prrrretty tricky to do properly, even if you know what you're doing.
