New Licence questions

    Hi Guys,

    I used to have an air rifle .177 couple of years ago but sold it. I want to buy a Gamo Whisper X and am looking into new regulations re rifle licence etc. Im 29 live on farm in galway east and was wondering do i need to join a club in order to get licence. the new form requires member ship number etc. Can i tick the "other" box option and explain that i want it for vermin and target shooting on the farm or do i need to join club and if so where would be best?

    Also seeing as i held a rifle licence before do i need the cert of competence ?
