No Earth in Google Earth!

Just launched Google Earth on my iMac and, guess what, there's no Earth! I tried trashing and reinstalling it but it's still the same. My Layers and Places are empty too...

Is Google's Earth server is down or is it just me?

    Any ideas?

Went back to version 5.0 and it's working now. Might try the 5.1 update from there and see what happens.

Installed the 5.1 update and all is well, the Earth is back. Weird.
