sky self install?

Hello. If i sign up for sky hd but already have dish, etc - and can setup myself is there any discount for this?

Ok, thanks Tony. I rang sky and they insist on sending an engineer out rather than just posting out the box.

I don't see the logic in this. Surely they can just let a courier deliver the box and this will be quicker. The engineer is going to drop off the box - and nothing else?

Well the box itself is an expensive item so this is to let them verify where exactly it is going. The installer (they dont use engineers) will connect it up for you which should take about 20 mins, make sure he does a software update first to make sure you have the latest firmware.
