Barrel for G&P SR16 Shorty

Can anyone point me in the right direction of what would be a good tightbore barrel to get to fit this gun:

And would it make a big difference in accuracy?

Or do you mean the Precision barrel will make it go over legal limit??

My bad, that was presumptuous of me. I saw the link and noticed the fps. To answer your initial question, a precision barrel will increase the power of your AEG.

My initial question was advice on what barrel would fit my aeg. Not on how hard it will hit. Are you the FPS police? :rolleyes:

He actually never asked that question. And a tightbore won't always increase the power of your gun.

No, I'd say Sam is just a concerned airsofter.

The link you posted at the start of the thread says the barrel is 11.5" long. Why don't you not just measure your barrel. I'd say that would be the best way of finding out what size barrel to get.

You wouldn't go wrong with a Madbull Black Python or a Prometheus barrel. If your feeling cheap, Vanaras are fairly decent as well.

Ah sorry about that, didn't understand what you were asking.
Yeah all AEG barrels are the same, only difference is you can get them in different lengths. So yes they are a generic fitting.

That has a 290mm barrel in it i think, promethius is a very good brand for barrels and you should notice a healthy increase in its grouping with one installed, they are a little thicker than your average barrel though and it can be a problem fitting them in some outter barrels.
