New start up idea, no capital

    Hi

I have what I think is a brilliant business idea, which has potential for franchising. It involves fitting out a luton or similar van and using it to sell my wares ( I don't want to say too much as I am cautious about giving out too much details.) It's a craft based business. I don't have start up capital, and we are in negative equity so borrowing against our home is not really possible. Does anyone know if there are any government schemes which would give us a starting stone for such a business. It would require start up for stock and a vehicle, the business would be mobile as opposed to static. Available to sell at fairs and also offer services in people's home.

I reckon I could get the business going with about €15-20k. I reckon I could sell franchises across the country and UK, Europe. Nothing set in stone but just wanted to put the feelers out to see if anyone had any ideas how I could raise the money to start my venture.

HOpe to hear some interesting replies

    Berny

Banks for you are out of the question, most loans available atm are extortionate i mean 2000% apr... borrow of a family member or go on dragons den, infact i think if you google irish investors there is a site where, not so famous "dragons", if you will listen to pitchs and invest if they like.
