    i have been given the opppOrtunity to go ahead with a cochlear implant by beaumont hospital. Im female aged 28. anyone one any views or experience with implant

    Hiya, i'm just wondering did you go ahead with the cochlear implant? My little girl is due to get her implant in Nov and would love to find out how your getting on with it! :)

    My nephew has one. A bit of pain at the start but flying along now.

    I teach a girl with one.

    profoundly deaf before, shes in the choir now.

    that says it all I reckon!!
