Delay in SW cheques

I heard on the news this morning there will now be a 1 day delay in receiving cheques from Social Welfare. Does anyone know what payments if not all are affected? I used to post cert on a Monday & receive payment into bank on a Wednesday. Since christmas this has extended untill the following Monday or longer. Last weeks…

I used to post cert on a Monday & receive payment into bank on a Wednesday. Since christmas this has extended untill the following Monday or longer. Last weeks payment ( sent monday) is not yet in bank account & this is Monday. Is this due to work to rule or the system is under pressure or am I just unlucky ? TBH im not complaining, Im glad to see it - Just curious as to the delays.
