    Hi
i want to build a timber framed garage . Not a particularly large one . less than 25m2 . i can find every conceivable calculation i need for timber other than how to size the uprights of the wall . Can anyone point me in the right direction? also what size should the cavity between the timber frame and a single block wall be ?
    Cheers

What you want is structural element sizing and should be done by an indemnified engineer. Also please read the forum charter, the sizing of your timber structure can not be discussed in this forum.
