According to the Terms on the website: "Successful buyers must use the discount within two weeks of ordering (dates will be provided later)"Its based on getting at least 20 people which they have. So am now just waiting for email with code to use for this discount.

That's nice. I'll do a date but am not that cheap lol.

Each person has to sign up individually for offer. I'm not affiliated to this crowd. I just saw the add embedded in www.boards,ie a while back and they finally activated the offer today.

Only 1 per account according to the terms. Which is a little silly. They should at least give you the option of a meal for 2 for €16.

It's not a bad little Indian by the way, if you haven't eaten there before... although it's a good few years since I've been in.

    from their website
My girlfriend and i just bought one each using my paypal account but both have shown up on my profile and none on hers! Hope this won't affect the validity of it.
    Alan from Dublin

That's fine Alan, our payment system takes its information from PayPal. PayPal told us that Alan bought 2 and his girlfriend bought none :) but it will not affect the validity.
    Admin from Sinirgy.com

so i'm hoping it's ok cuz thats what i done!

Well just gave it a go by setting up a second Sinirgy account.

It's a bit messy. Hope they get around to fixing it as it's an interesting idea for a site.

I just booked a second one on a Dublin City Gift card with a new Paypal account. If I'm stood up I hope that date is still on irishguy

Booked one in my account and set one up for my g/f and paid for both of them using a single paypal account (mine)..

Got back a response from them asking if I have mistakenly ordered twice from my paypal account, but sent back a response saying my g/f just happened to use my paypal account to pay for her voucher.

They got back saying that's fine, they were just making sure I wasn't charged twice due to a mistake on their part..

Now just waiting for the voucher..

Wasn't interested in the offer but had a look out of curiousity. I have to say I like the (sinirgy) business model. This could be very successful - a definite win win. Good for businesses and punters.

    Bit strange

    Sinirgy Website says
We need 20 buyers for this offer

but on the left hand side of the page it says
    Buy Now Sold Out
    OFFER SOLD OUT
    50 people bought
    50 buyers max

€8 is worth it just for the wine/beer alone

It was a great offer, anybody else think 11 hours to sell out something that cheap should have gone in a few minutes.

This was a three day promotion but sold out in 11 hours.

The needed a minimum of 20 people in order for the offer to take effect.

The site is very new and this is the first offer. So I guess they didn't expect it to go so fast.

    Hi everyone,

Thank you for your interest our service. Yesterday's offer did indeed sell out much faster than we thought. Those of you who bought will be issued your discount codes after the allocated time for the promotion has expired. We did attempt to speed this up but we need the manager of the restaurant to accept payment and he is unavailable until Thursday.

We have many more promotions in the pipeline and will let our members know when we launch one.

To simplify matters the purchasing process will be changed for the next offer.

    Regards,
    Sinirgy team

    whats deal sinirgy?

Thanks for the codes. Now I just realised you offer points for making referrals. Pity I didn't know that before I advertised this deal :(

Would make things easier if the codes were in the email itself.

Would just be handier to print off.

Yep, went to Indian Tandoori on Dame St on Saturday.

You get to choose a starter and main from the early bird menu and a choice of chips, naan bread or pilau rice to go with. Couple of beers or wines to wash it all down and ice cream to round it off.

Well worth the €8 and the food was very nice, I'd say there won't be much complaints...

Well after originally opening this thread I got to finally check out this deal with my mother and a friend yesterday. On finally discovering this restaurant on Dame Street after its recent name change I needed to visit the toilet due to the effects of a heavy head cold. Well wasn't I surprised to find the men's not only lacking a light but also toilet roll! I should have known to walk right out there and then. The food and service was okay as per the deal but on requesting deserts I was told we would now have to pay for them and also for the second glass of wine each! The waiter even brought back my printout to prove he was right which actually said "drinks" on it! I did attempt to explain the meaning of plural but it fell on feigned deaf ears. Thankfully only one other table was occupied to witness our embarrassment. My accompanying friend who is a Head Waiter of several years standing asked to speak to a manager but there was none present we were told. In the end we left without our desserts and without being scammed further by paying for the wine as advertised free in the offer. We left this individual restaurant vowing never to return again. Oh and the scamming waiter knows why he lost a decent tip ;)

Went to Indian Tandoori yesterday (the vouchers were expiring yesterday) with my partner and have to say the deal was well worth the money.

Got two glasses of wine, starter, main + desert for the voucher (as posted by Keith186) each and the quality and taste were excellent. The restaurant was pretty quiet and not opulent or flashy by any means and happened to have a pleasant chat with the owner - Kamal Vaid - who happened to serve us himself.

Would certainly recommend the restaurant and would definitely go back. A heads up to Sinirgy and hope to avail or other offers soon..

(I've no affiliation of any sort with either Sinirgy or the restaurant)

Got a mail on Wednesday that they expired Friday as they are only valid for 3 weeks (First I heard of it), I wasnt around for the weekend to use it (Or anyone I know). Contacted Sinirgy, they refused to let us book for early next week and then they refused to give us a refund. So I wont be using them again or recommending them to anyone.

They dont clearly advertise the restrictions of the offer. So beware if you are using them

To be fair when you check the status of your orders online there is an expiry. And they emailed, not much more they could do. I am sure you could have sold it on here.

I have used the 2 restaurant offers and I have to say they are an absolute bargain, unbelievable value.

I will be watching for future offers

How do I check the status?
Ok have just seen this now and it does have a expiry date, it also says active even though the date has passed.

They emailed me just before a bank holiday weekend, when most people would have something organise (Including myself). None of the emails from them stated there was a expiry date or T & C's attached.

All I am saying is they need to make these T's & C's clearer, especially when they will not refund you/ credit you for your purchase.

On the page offering the Indian meal was a message stating "Please read the terms and conditions before buying". The buyer did not read these terms and conditions. He states that having to click on a link to access the T&Cs is unacceptable and is paramount to deceptive advertising. We do not share this view as many online vendors including airlines, booking systems and traditional resellers use the same well established practice. The buyer complained that emails we sent relating to the purchase did not mention the terms and conditions. Our business model, like most online vendors, is to present the terms and conditions before the buyer makes the purchase, not to email the T&C to the buyer afterwards.

As indicated by a member of the public in the post above all buyers can view their purchases in their profile on our website. The buyer did not do this until after making the complaints above.

Another complaint stated that we "prevented" the buyer from redeeming the voucher. We sent a courtesy email to remind them prior to its expiry. The buyer was too busy at the time to use the voucher so we recommended he pass it on to his friends, he did not manage to do this as his friends were also busy. We do not think it fair that this situation be construed as our company actively trying to prevent the person from using the voucher.

We cannot extend the expiry date as this is set by the restaurant.

Our system now requires a buyer to click a checkbox to indicate that the terms and conditions have been read. This is as clear as we can make the process.

The director of Sinirgy has a policy of dealing with all complaints personally, he decided to allow the above buyer to recoup their money as a sign of good will.

This buyer, like all our members, is genuinely important to us and despite the fact that we have differing views on this matter we do hope we can serve him again in the future.

We take customer service very seriously and we will strive to offer you, our members, the very best service we can.

I had a similar experience to reb. The only inconvenience was finding the restaurant, walking up and down Dame St. twice only to discover it was Indian Tandoori on the outside instead of looking for Taste Of India, the iPhone solved this with a google as two Dubliners walked up and down Dame St. confused as a tourist!
I see the point with the toilets and whilst there were workers going in and out we enjoyed a great meal.
Poppadoms and dips brought out first by the owner, took our orders and had a good chat with him all about how he got here and what we we're upto aswell.
Offered us a large Cobra beer each, (660ml) instead of the 2 glasses of wine.
    The meal we had was
    Starter:
    2 Onion Bhaji's
    2 Lamb Samosa

    Main:
    Lamb Korma
    Chicken Tikka Masala

    Desert:
    2scoops of ice cream each

Great service, even though the restaurant seems to be going through renovations.
I'll be keeping an eye out for more great Sinirgy offers anyways.

The director contacted me personally from Prague while abandoned there during the first Volcanogate incident. He's kindly offered me an €8 refund which I just put towards the couple of cinema tickets in Ballingcollig Cork where coincidently my sister and her boyfriend live.

Guess who's looking for a little break in Cork after their exams :p
