Spencer Pratt...what's the point of him?

This is not so much about Heidi and all that stuff, just the guy himself....thing is right, i've laughed AT him many times on The Hills. He can be funny, with the stuff he comes out with.

But in general the guy is a total muppet, did anyone see him punch out that guy in a bar fight? :eek:

I'm torn on the guy, love to hate him or just loathe him.

I agree i hate him at times but i also love to watch him just to see what he is going to come out with he say's and does the most crazy things its hard to believe sometimes, i remember a phone call he made to brody about lauren conrad in it he was complaining that brody was rolling with his enemy haha just couldn't take him seriously at all!!

Having no idea who Spencer Pratt is, i have to assume you think he is some sort of celebrity.

to answer your question "Spencer Pratt...what's the point of him" the answer is simple; the point of him ( as is the point of anyone who wants to be a celebrity) is to get as much publicity as possible and stay in the limelight as long as possible.

thus, even your thread here is giving him publicity which is great for him too, as publicity seems to be the only real point of "celebrity".

That was all staged for the show;)
Same as the whole 'Stacey the barmaid' scenes....all made up to create drama. Ratings were really down so they brought in Spencer & Brody to liven things up.
I used to hate him but now he's my favourite character in the show. He's smart, says it as it is & has said some really funny things too! All the others are just moany & whiney!
I guess as a real person he's just like your average page 3 model or 'it' girl!! Doing anything & everything for money & fame...difference is he doesn't deny it...he laughs about it! Himself & Heidi even wrote a book about it! They're probably one of the most recognised couples in the world ( well Spencer anyway lol!! ) and they didn't get there just by being in The Hills.

He's a television character. I doubt any of us know what he's really like. All this stuff he comes out with in the media is just a way of promoting his character on The Hills (he's the best thing on that show by the way, his character is brilliant!),
