Hi I just bought a scenic 3 weeks go and it's automatic for my wife to practise driving but we find out that automatic is too easy to learn on and now I've already bought manual car for her here in adverts too.
The thing is when I bought the Scenic the owner lost the log book and just recieve the new one and sent it to me. Should I send it change to my name or is it ok to sell it under previous owners name?

The correct way would be to register car to you now and then sell it under your name when you get the book back from Shannon. This would also add one person to number of owners.
However if you chose not to I don't think anyone would be any wiser. Unless the buyer spots it during sale. It would look dodgy to say the least.

Any buyer would be foolish to hand over cash to you for a car that you dont own (according to the paperwork). If however you happen to have a receipt or something in writing from the previous owner, that would keep most buyers happy specially if you explain the case to them.

Send it to Shannon today, you'll have it back in a week (hopefully).

She should do it but the day of purchasing it She can't find the paper and We travel 100miles from Dublin to get it that's why she made a letter that we both agree until She got the new logbook, I might send it tomorrow morning to make all the sale legit. Otherwise I can find buyer that I'm willing to make statement that I have that car on that period just incase there's a voilation (speeding etc etc.) happen When I have the car with me.

Overall less the hussle I will send it to shannon tomorrow morning:)

Thanks Guys, and have a good day to all :)
