    Hi

I am in full time employment for the last 8 years and in the next few months I will taking 3 months unpaid leave.
I am wondering does anyone know if I would be entitled to any of tax that I have paid this year back?

    Thanks for your help!

talk to your payroll person, you should be paid on a cummalitive basis when you go back because your going back to the same company. This means your unused credits and band will roll up to your first pay slip back. IE if you paid 500k tax by then and you have 400 unused credits youll get 400 back plus tax free on your first pay slip back. Or if you have paid 400 tax and have 500 unused credits you get 400 back and another 100 towards your next payslip. Then at the end of the year ask the revenue for a p21 in case something else was missed
