Mechanic for Motor Mouth

As you may know, Motor Mouth will be on the air 7 weeks tonight and we’re starting to find our feet a bit. We’re very grateful for all of the comments – good and bad – about the show and we’re hoping they’ll keep coming.

We feel boards.ie is helpful to us because this forum really has its ear to the ground on what is happening in the motoring industry – and outside of the industry as well. All you have to do is look at the amount of personal queries people have on these boards to realise that some very good advise has been offered in these pages.

With that said, we’ve decided to open another part of our show up to somebody in Boards. We are hoping to pick a voice from here to be our once monthly mechanic. We’re looking for somebody who will answer our listener queries about their motor problems. We do have other options, but we think it would be a nice touch if one of you could fill in the role.

What’s in for the person who gets picked? Well, what you will get is to be a regular member of the show, which means that once a month we will introduce your name from your garage in your town, in your county. We will also plug www.yourwebsite.ie if you have one. This is a great opportunity for somebody on boards.

If anyone is interested please let me know through private message, and we will be holding auditions in the near future. A couple of things we will be looking for are proof of experience and of course we need whoever it is to be available to come to Dublin once a month for the live show.

We will be hoping to get this segment live by the 19th of next month, so we’re hoping that any of you who are interested will get back to us by Wednesday 31st March.

I'd offer to help but I have not got a voice for radio and have a mouth like a drunken sailor that would probably end up having to be beeped out. I'm also in the whest and wouldn't be able to make the commute.

The way things have gone I'd be of the opinion that if you get someone that can answer every question, they're either a bull**** artist ie a land mine, or you've uncovered the Holy Grail... If the latter pls pass contact details.
