    At the start of the show every morning a clip is played with a bassline in the back

    "it's not a question of who etc"

    Something like that

    What the hell is it from

    The spoken word bit is the character Super Soul from the 1971 movie Vanishing Point.

    The tune in the background is by The Meters - "Good 'Ol Funky Music", if memory serves....
