If you are in Donegal could you maybe jump across the border to Strabane for the posts and wire?
I was sledging some posts for the ol boy at the weekend there.
I believe the wire was 34 sterling. Thats the wire with the bottom two links dipped in the green stuff or what ever the correct term for it is?
    Unsure of posts though.

Thats very good value on the posts. Are they treated?
I got a quote of €4 from a sawmil for 6ft treated posts (3-4)inch only last week. Didnt purchase but thought it would be about the going rate. Obviously not !!

I didn't get mine in Strabane lad. I go to a supplier on up the road towards Plumbridge. Paddy McConnell is who we would deal with.

Update on last post after I was chatting to the brother. These might no be exact but close enough. Taken from Summer 2009 so they shouldn’t be much different to now.

    Wire
    Untreated £28
    Bottom 2 rungs treated £32
    All treated £34
    Posts
6 foot, semi circle £1.20 each
    Strainers £8 each
    Barbed Wire £20

Again those are sterling prices from a supplier 15 miles from Strabane.
