Increased charges in the car park

    I was parked in the UCC car park by the ORB on Saturday morning for exactly 88 minutes. It cost me 3 euro. I know a new price regime for the car park has come in but does anyone else feel its excessive. I mean, two months ago it would have cost a euro (first 30 mins free and 1 euro for the first hour).

    I think paying triple the price for the same service is a bit much. I know 3 euro isn't a lot but its more expensive than getting a parking disc (which lasts 2 hours).

    I guess its just another deterioration of services in UCC, where nothing is good value anymore.

    Then buy a parking disk. There was plenty of notice of the increases and there are always tons of spaces on the streets on a saturday.

    You're education is largely free is that not value?
