Is this man the worst presenter on ss. I do find the americans painful but over the last week Lee has caused me to cringe everytime he asks Peter oostuterhuis a question on the rules. Give me Di Stewart anyday.

true so true. watching the repeat just now and he is not making any sense when he talks. Can you imagine what oostie will tell the americans when he returns "and I thought you guys talked crap but there is this guy in the uk......"

I wouldn't mind giving Di Stewart a firm 3 wood into the the back bunker!

I'll just repeat what I said in the other thread.
I'm laughing here at Peter Oosterhaus's reaction to Rob Lee's increasingly bizarre questions. He is obviously trying to fill air time but an ad break would honestly be better.

The constant analysis of Harrington's detailed preparation and swing tinkering over the course of the weekend really annoyed me. I know they have to fill in time with the numerous U.S TV ad breaks but this was bordering on stalking!

Agree about Rob Lee being a rubbish presenter and I`m sure he has something against Harrington. I recall him slagging off Padraig last year because he changes his wedges so regularly. So, Rob, how many majors have you won?

    I like rob lee.

Actually now that I think of it himself and David Howell still pronounce Harrington as Paw-drake. The Americans have even nailed the pronunciation after all these years, no excuses.

Funny this thread starting on the day it is announced that Harry Carpenter of the BBC has passed away. He could have taught the sky presenters a thing or two. I don't have much time for any of them. Di Stewart may be easy on the eye but as a presenter she's as bad as the rest of them. The BBC are still streets ahead of the Sky.

BBC have very little golf. I don't mind him. I usually record it and skip the chat but the times I have seen him he seems alright, back to you Johnny!

cant say i find him that bad........at least he played the game

bbc have smug lineker, dizzy hazel and absolutely dismal "what did he just ask" shane o donoghue(thread to start in just over 2 weeks).............all they're short is adding craig"smiley boy" doyle:rolleyes:

while allis, brown & torrance are very good and elkington (i think)..........all broadcasters have crap presenters.......its getting a bit tedious listening to the knockers, bbc's plus is that they have no adds not a whole lot more,

lineker makes me taste vomit in my own mouth.....yuck

Think Lineker has been dropped from the golf this year and Hazel is taking over.

and what about Mark[i so want to suck Paul Casey] Roe

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 132 ✭✭Huntelaar

    Mark Roe is a twat.

The fact that the sub-title under his name every time it appears on screen is '536 European Tour starts' makes me laugh though.

Remember this when you see Lineker presenting the Masters ;)

That would be a positive.....well Gary being dropped anyway. Not sure Hazel is up to it either, she seems more comfortable being with John Parrot for the snooker. Then again doesn't Parrot get a Junket over to the golf as well.

Yes plus when players make a choice he doesn't agree with he goes over board with the critisim. What about the Open in 2003 Mark, how stupid was that :pac: never played a major again :P You'd think 3 time european tour winner would be a more favourable stat than 536 starts

Lee is 48 while Roe is 47. I wonder will they consider dusting off the clubs for the seniors tour or will we be stuck with them forever more on Sky :(
