    Hi

    Just a quick question

Bought 2 Wifi phones for myself and my father from the states

Approx value is 240 US Dollers with P&P being approx 45 Us Dollers.

It left the states on March 14th and parcel arrived to Customs in Ireland on Monday, the 15th of March. Question is how long do customs take to process parcels normlly (If I had known about the time it is taken, would have asked for lower P&P for non-express delivery :)

    Thanks in advance

    Regards
    Dan

As long as they want. Sorry, but you're just going to have to wait for them. It might be a day or two, and it could be a week or two. It varies wildly from person to person, so there is no general answer. You're not going to be able to effect it anyway.

Yes, this is best since you will be charged VAT on the postage costs. In theory if you bought a pen worth $1 with post of $45 you would be liable to pay VAT. In practise they usually just look at the items value, but in practise they do add on the shipping value when calculating the VAT.
