Anyone who is receiving the grant get their fees refunded yet?
I'm still waiting on mine and its nearly bloody April :mad::mad:

Have had to borrow up to my eye balls to get through the year and want to get grinds before my exams in a subject and cant afford them unless I get my fees money back soon.
Its a bit of a disgrace to be honest.
I was told November, then January, then first week in March and now its near the end of March and still nothing

Have u tried ringing the Co. Council

A tip next year would be to tell the college your in receipt of a grant and then you may only have to pay the student levy/Admin fee when your registering

Im in 2nd in ul and ive only had to pay the €72 student fee

    Hoope this helps

I got mine back about 2 or 3 weeks after I received my first grant payment. As far as I know once you are approved for a grant payment the registration fees are paid to your college. You then apply to your college to have them reimbursed to you. In LYIT we fill out a form giving our bank details and its paid that way.

Yeah sorry I wasn't clear on that, i basically hounded them with calls and went in in person, I got screwed around by the grant last year and was determined not to let it happen again. i was actually in and out to the treasury office so much the security guards recongnised me and would always ask how i got on again.
