McHale say 100-130 would be sufficient.Think the 66 is 125 or 130 so youll be grand.Still a fusion would push a 100hp tractor around the field.

I was quite impressed with Krone's version of the fusion

Good luck getting a fusion on bad land. Your meadow would look ploughed on the way out. if it gets out without a digger

disaster on heavy land, was watching one last year, the wheels just lock up and dig in any little soft spot. , and then the fun begins. the owner has tried a different tyre hoping that they would keep rolling but was not much of an improvement

    Did you ever use one?

My neighbour had a mchale fusion on a fendt 716 and a Krone CV150XC on a Massey 6480....The Krone made a show of the fusion..It had 3/4 of the second swarth done as the fusion was finishing the first...No comparison

Ye them John deeres are sh1te but so is everything else made by deere

think you'll need a 69 r 7710 to work the fusion in comfort,, ye need a good bit of grunt to fill the bale well and their fairly heavy as well,, as regards to wet land and wheels draggin,, the fusion2 has more wheel to arch clearance than the mk1 so she doesnt gather dirt and drag which used be the case anyway its goin 2 be good year this year so be no wet fields,,, we hope!! happy baling anyways,,,, fusion is by far the best combi baler ever made.....

They make fantastic bales if the row is wide. I think Krone, Mchale and welger are the top bailers.
Everybody knows krone makes the best bales!

krone make a good bale but i find their combi unit is fine on irish ground in straight lines but the double axle system does alot of tearing in small softer fields i think the fusion is the best suited by far..

Ps.You need a big tractor for comfort and top bale quaity, 150hp up but a 66 will do the job for you alright..

the fellow my son mows for picks up 24 ft with the fusion.. 3 X 8 foot swarths

if is a very heavy crop he picks up 2 (16 feet)

he has 160 hp and makes a good bale
