Should I be concerned?

I have an 18 year old daughter doing her leaving cert..her best friend is 17 and the best friend had an 18 year old boyfriend that she has being seeing for two years...all three spend a lot of time together...this evening i went in to my daughters room and and the three of them were in my daughters bed, now they were fully dressed but they had the duvet puled up around themselves and they were watching a film on the laptop. I don't realy know what to think. I am going to have a word with my daughter later but at the same time i don't want to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

If they were on a couch watching a movie with a duvet around them would you have had the same concerns?

Dont worry.
Thats just good close friendship.
Watching a movie in bed and under duvet to keep cosy or cosy.

I wouldn't worry ... in fact it'd be hard to comfortably watch a movie on the laptop without the duvet in place!

Didn't think of that. I used to burn myself falling asleep with my laptop on my lap!

To be frank, it could be worse,you could not know where she is at all in the evenings like a lot of parents of teenagers. Obviously being an 18 year old, hormones are flying but that doesnt mean they were doing anything, sounds like they were just keeping cosy.

Yeah defo nothing to worry about. Unless she has some weird sexual history that we're not aware of I'd trust that she wasn't having a threesome, that would be extremely unlikely. Relax they're just buddies.

Seriously OP nothing to worry about from the sounds of it. I've not only wrapped up in duvets watching dvd's with friends, I've slept in beds platonically with multiple combinations of male/female single/attached friends at house parties.

No big deal.
