EDMONTON - Anti-oilpatch activist Wiebo Ludwig says there are innocent explanations for the articles police seized from his farm in northwestern Alberta in a recent raid.

Some of the books on terrorism were gifts, the chemistry texts were for home schooling and the marijuana was for his pregnant goats.
Mounties searching the property, where 50 members of Ludwig's clan live, seized numerous items, that included:

-Books with titles such as "Harvest of Rage: Why Oklahoma City is Just the Beginning," "Blasters Training Manual" and "Arma-Geddon."

    -Chemistry textbooks.

-Ludwig's diary, containing what he says are well over 2,000 pages of notes.

    -A crossbow and a shotgun.

-A computer hard drive and office supplies.

-A video of the "Lord of the Dance."

    -A 75-gram bag of marijuana.

    This man is my hero.

I doubt he's a wannabe terrorist. He's 68, and from the article he sounds fairly level-headed and just believes in freedom of literature, and freedom in general. He's actually kind of a total hippie, which is why I like him more.

Sounds like he believes in the same 'freedom' that Timothy McVeigh did.

Ever seen the film Humboldt County?

I reckon he's closer to them than any sort of terrorist. They've had their eye on him for years and he's never done a thing except protested. He's 68, if he wanted to do something, don't you think he would've done it by now?

Of course he is... They were chemistry books too, obviously he was going to make some sort of marijuana goat meat bomb...

If reading stuff like that makes you a terrorist then the cops better come for me now, I have read the entire Anarchists Cookbook! (Awesome stuff in there...anyone have some potassium nitrate I can borrow?)

Lord of the Dance does make him an absolute legend though! :D
