Just like to say a big thanks to East Coast Shooting Club for hosting the shoot today on a very nice range facility!! And to all the members of Rathdrum who supplied and setup the electronic targets!! It was a lot of work and really appreciated!!;)

Your thanks are really appreciated Floydster, I'll pass them on to the rest of the lads and the Chairman, committee and members of East Coast Shooting Club.

It was a great day, I really enjoyed it and also the shooting. Lovely range and very nice to shoot on. Thanks everyone for being so understanding with the breakdowns; it was inevitable considering the amount of setting up needed, but next time it will be a lot quicker and smoother.

Some very good scores; including yours, and hopefully even better ones when people get used to the setup.

Really nice to have another range on the map! And such a good one too.

First time in ECSC and it's a cracking range, excellent spot for qualification shoots. Will be doing my utmost to attend all future matches there. It's a very interesting range to shoot on; I daresay we'll see some very high scores shot there.

Yep, just to echo what has been said before: thanks to all who worked to make a great shoot. It's a great range, hard enough to shoot on to make it a challenge but not so hard as to make you give up. :)

Hopefully next time I'm there I'll add a lot more to my score. :)

BTW Lads, what were the scores?
    How did ye all do?

FLOYDSTER had a 587, I'd a 570, Conor had a 567. There were a few between 570 and 580, so given another chance at that range, I reckon a few of those (hopefully myself included) will push nicely past the 580 mark and start edging towards qualifying scores. It's a smashing range, perfect place for qualifying shoots. As Conor says, difficult enough to be a worthy challenge, but not so difficult you can't get hold of it. Wind wasn't too bad, easily enough read (though I fluffed some calls and there were a few changes too quick for me to spot - mea culpa) but the light was very tricky at times. The last detail had it particularly rough, any decent scores shot in that were very hard won indeed.

Really enjoyed the day's shooting. I had actually forgot how hard it is to shoot a 60 shot match! I,m practically crippled t'day. I woke at 5am this morning and couldnt even roll over in the bed!! :o

I'll have to get FLOYDSTER to spend a bit more time on the rub down afterwards next time ;)

Anyway, thanks to all at East Coast & Rathdrum, and I have no doubt I'll be seein' ye all very soon!!

We're gratified that people like the range, and look forward to seeing everyone back again in the near future.

All the hard work on the day was done by the NTSA/Rathdrum people - RRPC & his crew. So a vote of thanks to them for that.
