Brilliant, best thing RTE make in my opinion not that that means anything. Francis Brennan is the first chef, knowing RTE there'll only be 4 or 5 eps in this series now though.

I thought the recession might have diluted down the amount of pretentious tossers dining. I was wrong.

Judging by the press release, Tommy might be next week.
Back for its seventh series on RTÉ One, this year the series will see a fantastic line up as five celebrity foodies join Francis Brennan during March and April. Tommy Bowe, the try-scoring winger of the Irish Rugby Team, Sarah Newman, successful businesswoman and star of Dragon's Den, Fintan O'Toole, author and political columnist, Daithi O'Se, TG4 Weatherman and star of the All Ireland Talent Show and Lorraine Keane, style icon and TV presenter will.

Sarah Newman.... jesus... "I don't believe in my own food, its not an investment that I'm interested in, so I'm out." Shocker, Sarah.

Agreed. I thought the critics were very positive and were going to give him a high enough star rating.
Great episode though, Tommy is hilarious!

it's a big ask for a lad who hasnt any experience in the kitchen to go on to the show to be fair.. well done to Tommy for giving it a shot.. I'm sure his "Player Of the Tournament" award means just a little bit more than the five stars..

Watch Francis Brennan the other week and was expecting him to be bossy and a complete pain in the ar*e. However, he was hilarious and a very interesting guest. Well done.
