laptop wont charge

So my laptop has unfortunately decided it does not want to charge anymore. It still works, I can turn it on with another battery in it but the batteries wont charge inside my laptop Its not the addapter, i can charge the batteries with it in a mates laptop (same one as mine) What happened was I smelt Burning coming from…

What happened was I smelt Burning coming from the fan area and then it just stopped charging and hasnt charged since

Its a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!!
