    How is it that card rooms are still taking for 1 or 2 tournament leagues out of every prize pool and the customers are not saying anything. I am an occasional live tournament player and will go to the best looking freezeout on a night I want to play so I wont be playing in any of these leagues so I'm being forced to give up a lot of value to these leagues.

    To the regular players: If these leagues were not there or the prize pools were more than cut in half would it make any difference to your playing schedule?

    Tournament poker hasn't got mojo atm like it had 3-5 years ago. I run a game, and HAVE to run a league to get anyone in to play the tournies. Our casino doesn't want to or expect to make any money out of those games, and in many cases lose money on guaranteed stuff. It's just good to have people in the club full stop.
