The deadline for the technology project is approching and I still don't know what needs to be done for the project. I'm grand for the practical side but I don't know what needs to be done for the written brief. All the othe projects I have to do (Science, CSPE, etc) come with a booklet and all that needs to be done is fill in the spaces. If anyone could provide any information or links I would be very pleased. Thanks.

When I was doing my Home Ec folder, I looked at the marking scheme and the chief examiners reports. Also try curriculumonline.ie.

You need to type up a folder on your computer, print it, bind it and try to make it look professional. They won't give you a booklet to fill out. Ask your teacher about this

Are you stuck on the whole folder or any sections of it?

I'm stuck with the consept of what we have to do. I know that we have to design what the brief says, but then I was told I need two additional designs that I never intend on building.

Just think up 2 other ways your brief could be built, and do a rough but neat sketch of both of them. Then have a third rough but neat(but slightly different) sketch of your final design on that page.
Then you need a good drawing of your final design and working drawings (to scale drawings of each individual piece of your project)

I have 2 sample LC tech folders on a USB stick. I'll upload them tomorrow if i get a chance.
