Three ball singles...€2 front, back & overall. It two of the players have the same score on either of the nine holes, is it traditional to (a) the player that lost pays each of the players that drew €1 each (b) or nothing?

Strictly speaking, I would have thought that there should always be a winner on each nine - even with the same score, the winner can be decided by comparing the last 6 holes, last 3 holes and then the last hole to determine the true winner. You would then pay that person 2 euro. However the person who tied the score would obviously feel very hard done by.

The fairer approach would of course be to split the €2 and pay them €1 each.

Standard for the loser to pay the players who tied unless otherwise stated.

Same here. We only pay when there is a winner. Draw no money changes hands.

We normally play front nine back nine and match...three bets €2 for each

    normally play 3-3-4, front-back-overall,
if front is halved it goes into overall so the 2 guys halving have a slight advantage for the overall.......happy with that

yep, nothing due. We only pay up if the winning player has a minimum of 16pts for either 9 or a minimum of 32pts for the match.

makes you drive to play well on top of beating your best mate
