I'd say you would get a better response if your query wasnt presented as an equation.

Its hard to tell without knowing too much and knowing what work would be involved. If its non complex basic book-keeping then the lower end of the scale.

Anything from €25 to €50 per hour i guess.

As i said it all depends on the type of work being done.

If you were doing a VAT return then €15 per hour is grand. If you were setting up leases which require knowledge then you may well be able to charge €25 per hour. Finalising management accounts could be €35 per hour..

All depends on the complexity of work.

You have no clue  - what's your point ?? Please explain yourself!

I work 1day a week as a bookkeeper while in college and I am looking to beome a chartered accountant - where's the problem??
I have the choice of doing the masters...if i want to.
My first post was unclear to you i presume. When i said what are my chances of a good job ( i should have said FULL TIME PERMANENT JOB IN A PRACTICE)

And by the way - you have added nothing constructive to this topic, you just come across bitter.
And actually looking back over your past posts most of them are the same, you have a bad attitude - not a good trait in the business world.

Its not as simple as above. If you go into an office and work on their PC with their software then you would charge a completely different rate than if you took the work to your office and used your own PC and software.

If someone was working self employed with no holiday pay, sick pay and overheads to cover I would expect them to charge at least €25ph.

Your experience and qualifications can obviously effect that rate too.

    Hope this helps

I agree with Dothebooks. At my office a fair bit of work is sent to off site bookkeepers and the normal rate is €25 per hour. If you can get enough of this work to do a 30 hour week you are looking at €750 per week, work 40 weeks of the year €30,000 per annum.:rolleyes:
