Amazon parcel undelivered, any experience

    I'm Amazon customer and never had any issue with them. But my last order (camcorder €500+) was not delivered. They asked me to wait one more week in hope it is only delay by AnPost.
    Das anyone had similar sytuation and how it was resolved? How long it takes?
    It always wondered me that postman never bothered to take my signature on delivery. Just rung the bell and dropped parcel downstairs (apartment block).

    Any advice on that?

    Wait a week and contact amazon. You shouldn't have any problems with them.

    Really surprised Amazon sent that out without tracking

    I'm surprised also. That's what they say:

    "... We're happy to provide tracking information for our customers when possible, however please note that An Post delivery do not have a valid tracking number for these deliveries.
    Please note that International shipments do not valid have tracking numbers. I request you to check with your local postal services to ask if your order is being held there...."

    An Post is unable to check without tracking number when I've rung them.



    What I'm afraid of that fuss if post man claims he delivered parcel. I know they have to prove etc..... But it might take weeks to sort out.


    Or may be it is only my imagination and all will end in a few days.

    Sometimes stock is sent from mainland europe and can take nearly an extra week.

    But it is not the case here. They admitted it is delay.

However, we are very aware that as a company we rely heavily on the postal system to supply our customers with their orders, and that any delay during transit such as this reflects badly on us.
