    Hello,
    Can anyone tell me whats good and bad about these?

    How do they compare with VW/AUDI equivalents (in terms of economy, reliability & resale)?


    Im interested in only the diesel models and would like to buy brand new.

    Also can you get them cheaper in northern ireland?

    Skodas are owned by VAG who also own the likes of VW, Audi, Seat, etc. The TDi engines and alot of parts are shared between all these brands including the Octavia. The Octavia is basically the same car as a VW Golf, Audi A3 and Seat Leon underneth the different styling.
