Love Lazy Days Like This

Today's a great day. It started off with a fry-up around 10 this morning; followed by a 2 hour walk with the OH and the dogs.

The weather is great; everyone we met was in a good mood... We got home, flew to the shops to pick up some supplies and now the 'Sunday Dinner' is almost ready! Nothing else planned for the rest of the day. Just a whole load of relaxing!

Plus I'm in great form. Probably due in part to the stress-free, chillaxing Sunday I'm having!

What's your idea of a perfect day?

Not saying that today was a perfect day, but it's definitely not a bad one!

I'm having quite a lazy day too. Got up,got the car washed, bought 2 Sunday papers and have spent the afternoon catching up on whats going on in the world. Plus i can hear dinner being served up now, just as i'm getting peckish. Not a bad day either personally!

This has to be the post of the year. It's original, witty, insightful, contributes greatly to the thread and of course makes the OP feel absolutely marvellous. Well done sir, well done.

He'll probably be sent to bed with no supper when his mother finds out he's being bold on the internet.

I've thrown out all the cakes, cream and chocolate I bought yesterday. Life is good, although it'll get even better.

Oh, I see,you discovered they were rotten and if eaten you would have got food poisoning and died, yes? There can be no other reason to throw out such num nums.

    I wouldn't call a 2 hour walk being lazy

It was more of a 'leisurely stroll' than a power walk! just took it easy, enjoying the weather.

Young'uns today don't know what it's like to live a hard life. Having a lazy day eh? Back in my youth I had to 7 miles barefoot in snow etc. etc.

Well I went for a long bike ride up the River Lea canal after Mass. For some reason I just can't stay still in one place when I've got a day off. I've got to be on the go when I should be lazing about. And when I've got things to do and places to go I just want to lay about.
