    i had my car tested in tullamore nct and they failed it for headlight alignment.
    i explained that the lights were aligned yesterday.the tester looked uncomfortable and said sorry it failed.
    i went directly back to the garage where i had it aligned and showed them the failure printout, they could'nt believe it and said they would do it again for free.

    when they checked it they said it was perfect.no ajustment needed?

    so back to the nct i go and guess what it passed.

    They must have some quota to meet for fails. After the stories I've read here and other forums and my own experience twice tested before it passed etc. They are the dairy farmers of the motoring industry :pac:.

    There's a simpler reason, but I can't start name calling on teh internet like. Write a letter to the centre and cc it to ;
    National Car Testing Service
    Registered office:
    Lakedrive 3026,
    Citywest Business Campus,
    Naas Road,
    Dublin 24

    Then never go to that centre again, I gotta drive 30 miles for mine as the local
    idots
    don't seeem to be able to do their job properly.

    The parents car (Peugeot 307) got turned down because a break fluid hose had a little scratch on it. The other one had just been changed recently so that looked much newer than the one they failed for.

    Bloody expensive parts. My parents going mad. Wonder if it's just to keep them in jobs or what...:rolleyes:
