Is there anybody out there in the same situation as me?
You have this teacher and he/she does'nt know how to teach.
I have 2 atm. Also opinions wanted on how many teachers you had for 1 subject. I had 8 teachers for history over the 3 years!

Here are the amount of teachers I've had for each subject and whether they were good or bad:

    English - 2 teachers - 1 fantastic, 1 terrible.
Irish - 3 teachers - All bad though my current one is slightly better.
    Maths - 3 teachers - 1 terrible, 2 fantastic.
    History - 3 teachers - 2 terrible, 1 fantastic.
    Geography - 4 teachers - 2 fantastic, 2 terrible.
    CSPE - 3 teachers - 2 good, 1 terrible.
    Religion - 3 teachers - 3 good.
    French - 1 teachers - Good.
    Business - 1 teachers - Fantastic.
    Science - 3 teachers - 2 very good, 1 terrible.
    Art - 2 teachers - 1 terrible, 1 good.

So, I’ve had a total of 28 teachers for 11 subjects, 12 of which were bad or terrible.

I don't like blaming teachers for everything because really the course isn't that hard if you put the effort in yourself... But my geography teacher.
Right no one got an A in the class and one guy has a perfect score of all A's from first year up which is kind of saying something!

I've had her since first year and year by year she's been losing a marble... She doesn't even the whole classes names! She has probably passed retirement by now aswell, her techniques for teaching is terrible telling us if we say in my opinion and write down anything we should get full marks!

When we read through a chapter in class she skips everything and tells us to underline stuff that is completely irrelevant.

The other higher maths has this terrible teacher. She can't teach for her life - half the class dropped, like 3 people passed and all her leaving cert students failed the mocks.

Whereas in my maths 4 or 5 dropped and not many failed - I got 64%. :D

Imagine being unfortunate enough to have some teachers :p

I had a few subjects with varying teachers over the years.

Science, awful German woman we couldnt understand (She had not communication skills either, didnt help) then she got incredibly sick and left. Then I got one of the greatest teachers I ever had as a replacement. Had her for LC Biology after.

English, had a student teacher in 1st year, her Geography class decided to act up during an inspection and I think she lost all confidence after that. It's a shame, I thought she was lovely and an excellent teacher.......she works in Dundrum SC now afaik :( Got an absolutely lovely man as a replacement, but he cant really control classes. In 5th year I had an EXCELLENT teacher, but she decided to féck off to Australia (I hope it sinks to be honest, I'm really quite bitter about her leaving...) and I got the first replacement back again. He did kinda make me like English, but obviously not enough to do particularly well in it.

CSPE. Had 3 teachers, 1st year, absolute gentleman, left to become a barrister though . 2nd year, got my classics teacher as my CSPE teacher, I hate him beyond words (Will never change :)) then in 3rd year I got a man who just didnt care and he kinda stopped trying (My class didnt make things easy for him).

Maths, really awful teacher in 1st year who basically put a stop to me being good at maths for the rest of secondary school. Had excellent teachers after that, but he had kinda already ruined me, and I sorta struggled with basic enough stuff I was just never taught (Continues to be a problem in my fairly maths heavy college course......).

Irish, had 2 teachers (Husband and Wife), they were beyond excellent.

Cant think of any other major ones.

I have two terrible teachers aswell!
My English teacher is actually hopeless! The highest percentage in the class was 54 or 56%
He is the most qualified but he hasn't a clue to be honest!

My maths teacher is crap aswell! She's good at maths but horrible at explaining things. She seemed to do a different thing for each individual question but then I got a really good maths grind and he explained everything and it all makes perfect sense now!!

I'm in the last few months of the JC now (scary..) and these are the teachers I've had over the past 3 yrs...
English- 1 main teacher who is excellent but left for a whole yr. (April in 2nd yr- April in 3rd yr); we had 4 subs for her-2 excellent, 1 average, the other crap
    Irish- 1 excellent teacher!
Maths- Exc. teacher in 1st yr, in 2nd yr the teacher didn't explain anything!, for 3rd yr. I got back my 1st yr. teacher!!:D
    Geography- 1 excellent teacher
    History- 1 excellent teacher
Religion- pretty much same situations as English... ( as we had same teacher for Eng and RE) but some of the subs were different... all excellent.
Art- We did NOTHING in Art for 1st or 2nd year because of our teacher... in 3rd yr we had loads of subs... and now we're finding out with 2 weeks to the exam that we have to be able to draw a person!!!
Science-- same teacher as Maths for 1 and 3rd yr- excellent!
Business- 3 different teachers- all excellent!
    German- 1 excellent teacher!
