Thought it was a very poor Irish team performance but a deserved win for Scotland and also thought Dan Parks was well worthy of MOTM. He has improved with each game and did what was necessary when it was needed. Thought it was very bad form booing the bejaysus out of him with that last kick. On the other side of that coin, ROG was excellent when he came on (even making some decent tackles) BUT to blame young Sexton is such tripe. He missed a couple of kicks but he's starting out in his career and apart from that made plenty of contributions in the game. I think we're lucky to have two out halfs of that calibre as Sexton will come good.

However, with it obvious from the very start that the scrum was struggling, WHY wasn't Cian Healy taken off. We were very lucky he wasn't sin binned. I'm not a big fan of Tony Buckley but when it was failing Healy needed to be taken off. Now if that was the only thing maybe I wouldn't have called the thread what it is but with the lineout going from bad to terrible why the HELL wasn't Leo Cullen brought in? Finally, as a Connacht man I'm not at all surprised Sean Cronin wasn't brought in but Jesus some of Best's thrown in's were absolutely dire. I think its better to blood players in this type of atmosphere ESPECIALLY when the Triple Crown was slipping away.

However, the big question is the title thread and if he had the freedom to call the shots, then is it more of the Eddie era:( as he didn't make the necessary changes???? I'm nearly dreading the RWC at this stage.
