The Curragh hosts a bunch of typically hard to parse Maiden Stakes and a competitive looking Group Three (all the usual suspects represented). Only seems like yesterday it was the middle of winter!

I'm gonna have a trudge through the Field tonight. I suspect the ones with recent form might be the ones to keep on side to a certain extent. Like Pallazone in the Linconshire who ran a good 3rd in a handicap in Meydan.

Wont be the same without Kinane

just back from the Curragh..... Horror story. None of O'Briens looked forward. The last jolly was shocking. Gone at half way. After the first 2 I went in to the Ladbrokes counter to do an e/way double on Tommy Stack's in the 3rd and 4th...... Talked myself out of it and :(...........
The Curragh is gone to hell. If this is the 'home' of Irish racing then god help us. No attempt at maintenance and only a handful of people there. Has always looked like a fallout shelter, but now it looks abandoned!

I wouldnt be touching O'Brian horses this early in the season as I said in another thread, see how slow they started last year.
Bolger is the one to back. Had a well backed second today in the first and a place in the big handicap I think along with a winner in the last and had a second first time out in Dundalk a few weeks back.

I was thinking about Dundalk form in the car just now as it happens, I'm going to have a look back through the first two cards of the year and see who's yard appears to be forwards.

    Shocking performance

You can sing that. The market drift was enough for me. Never put into the race.

Bolgers Reiteration was very promising first time out and continued his progression with this win.A lot of money on the 2nd but i have a feeling bolgers animal is pretty decent.
Great day for the stack clan.
