Bloody hell, how can so many people over look such obvious things?

    Tranquil Tiger 1st @ 11/8, Suits Me 2nd @ 10/1

    Easy bet, no?

    You've lost me...

Both sets of horses have finished within a nose of each other.

one of the horses in each set is a short price and the other is much bigger odds.

    Which would you back?

I get you now and I think a lot of people would have copped the Imperial Commander and backed accordingly. Then again their next meeting ended up with about sixty lengths between the pair

    It's not THAT easy!
Course form and going is everything when justifying the bet.

Suits me & Tranquil Tigers nse form was at C&D (10f at Lingfield)

Imperial C is effective at Chltenham and so the bet was on.

Well, Walsh and Nicholls both said that Kauto would improve a ton for the Haydock race and we can see looking back that Kauto is never at his best first time out.
Then he goes and beats Imperial commander by 59 lengths, so we all think they had it right and he had improved. Plus the fact that Imperial Commander had never won over 2m 5f!

Don't know much about the flat, but Tom Segal said 100/30 was too big about Tranquil Tiger this morning so that's why it went so short. Apparently it pulled hard last time out and that's why Suits Me was so close, I don't know though.

Well the opposite happened today. Suits Me pulled early.. He fought back and was only beaten 3/4l. Is 3/4l a justifyable distance between a 10/1 & 100/30?

Also Double Grand National Winner says he stays...he stays. IC would improve for the run also. He gives his best at Cheltenham.

The gulf in the betting is the only part that matters to my point. Both longer odds horses proved they can match the shorter price horse. If your having a bet, theres only one option.

Do you think IC would have won if Kauto had a clear round? (Ifs and buts, I know.)
His time was a second faster than Kauto's win last year but hard to tell how much better the ground was.
