    Hi
I am looking for a French Reg. Lhd as I am going to France for a few months. I want to bring quite a bit of stuff with me so would like to buy it in Ireland. Also I think second hand cars are better value here.
Any ideas as to where I could look? Apart from the obvious like Donedeal.com
    etc.
    Thanks

Post moved to a new thread. Please don't drag up old threads, just start a new one.
It seems like a bit of a mad idea to me...

Cheaper to buy beam benders and put them on an Irish car. Have a Hi Viz and a warning triangle with first aid kit and you are sorted.

You do not need a LHD.

I wish you best of luck finding a LHD French reg car but you might rethink the idea.

You cannot buy a french car in Ireland and drive it for a few months in France.
In France you have 15 days to change the paper work. So driving the car like this with no official change of ownership is illegal. Plus that means it would not be properly insured either.

And of course to register it in France you have to have an address in France. So it really depend show long you gonna stay.

Now second hand cars in France, depending of the model of course, but for those with a few years, are usually more expensive than here. In France, like in Germany etc, cars do keep their values a lot better and longer than here.
