    A few were looking for details of the Connacht A v Ulster Ravens game on Thursday so heres a wee report.

    Connacht A 19

    Ulster Ravens 18

    Conancht defeated Ulster in an Ai inter-pro in Kildare in Thursday afternoon when a late penalty from Finn Gormley decided the issue.

    Miah Nikora hit two first-half penalties for Connacht but they trailed 12-6 at the break after Jonny Shiells and Scott La Valla scored tries for Ulster.

    Luke Marshall extended their lead in the second-half but Connacht hit back for a try from Denis Buckley which was converted by Nikora to make it 15-13, before Marshall landed another penalty to leave it 18-13.

    Nikora reduced the deficit to leave two between them going into the closing stages and Connacht secured victory when Gormley landed a suoerb penalty from distance.

    How is Brian Tuohy getting on?

    Connacht could have a good young back line if their Irish Under-20s develop. That'll be useless unless they can really improve in the forwards though.

    A back line of 9. Murphy, 10. Keatley, 11. Carr, 12. Matthews, 13. Griffin, 14. O'Halloran, 15. Duffy would be very dangerous. There'd be a good bit of depth there behind that as well.

    When did Connacht sign Daragh Fanning???
    Seen him play in AIL and always wondered why he wasn't picked up by Leinster hes an incredible player.
