Which model iMac do you have?
Apple Menu > About this Mac > More Info
Look for the model identifier e.g. iMac6,1

What type of memory does it require?
Apple Menu > About this Mac > More Info > Memory
Look for Memory Type and Speed, e.g. DDR2 SDRAM, 667MHz

When you find all that, go to Crucial.com
