at the moment yes, as long as it comply to the Irish 1 joule limit you can still import

although the new bill is in place it is not being enforced at this point and we have not heard anything from the iaa for some time in terms of a time frame to when it will be enforced

When(/if) the ban comes into place, is it just the AEG's or is it accessories aswell? I know this has probable been asked before, so my apologies

    Accessories will be fine.

The ban will affect Realistic Imitation Firearms (RIFs). As yet, we'r enot entirely sure what constitutes a RIF exactly, other than the obvious full guns and rifles.

    Grands so. Thanks.

    Don't import AEG's myself, so I'm sorted.

Once I can still get the accesories I'm happy

quite a few of the accessories are very good value in Ireland.

When you factor is exchange rate and shipping/customs Ireland sometimes ends up better, especially if it doesnt work as it should, then you get good support. So look here before you purchase abroad.

QAS, Eirsoft and Hobbyairsoft have really nice stuff on par with some online shops.

Oh yeah, I aggree. The accessories I buy abroad (eg RSOV) are the cheap stuff that I stick on mostly for show, like a 10 quid laser, or a Mag grip holder. For my realy stuff, like batteries, mags, rails, scopes, I always buy irish
