I am looking for some advice maybe someone out there could help. Our House which was built in the mid 1970's has what I think is a Cork Stone front (a grey and yellow stone) and pebble dash to the rear of the house. As I dont like the stone & pebble dash I am wondering how I could do to get rid of it. Have seen the Likestone website but it looks as though it could work out quite expensive as its to cover a large area, and I have a budget. The area of the house is roughly 1200 Sq Meters. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks

yes there are several stone cladding products on the market, try website

website fernhill stone or google stone cladding and find more sites to give idea what look like

on costs for lad and material would at between 75 to 110 euro per sq mtr depending on product

assume area given be floor area. try est wall area hight by length for each side and deduct few mtrs for windows and doors

if icould see photo current house be better able advise on options

    hoping above helps

you will buy cut natural stone for less that 50 euros a meter .

it can be layed at only 6" wide . it looks lovely dry or pointed.

that cladding is cheep looking and if water gets in behind it and freezes your into hard ship.

Hi JWShooter, thanks for reply just wondering can this go on more or less over existing stonework or would I have to get the Corkstone and dash removed first.

    hi .
i would take the corkstone off ,it should not be a big job .the dast would be fine.

fixing of the stone work can be done with pin ties or brackets shot of screwed into your block work.

just measure your fascia board to see what room you have.
