I tried setting up a internet connection last night only to find that there was no network adapter showing...which means there must be an issue on the mobo. Its a Foxconn 945 p7AE. I downloaded a a number of drivers for it,transfered to usb and installed them all on said pc, but no luck. checked the bios but cannot spot anywhere it would be disabled.

Anyone know how i can fix this?

I had to go View -> Show Hidden Devices to display the Network Adapters options. There was a load of WAN stuff in it earlier. Now, my bro started messing around and added Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC and Realtek RTL8169/8110 Family Gigabit Ethernet NIC...where ever he got them from I dont know, cant contact him to find out. they look like drivers to me.
When I view properties on either of these, device status says the device cannot start (Code 10)

    Should i uninstall these?

Well i fixed the issue...i used a program call Driver Fetch from bitware.com, and ran it on pc. It generates a link to the drivers needed.i ran that on a networked pc, downloaded drivers, transferred to pc and now i have network adapters. Driver Fetch seems a good little program, maybe useful to mention for anybody else that may be having similar issues
