Question Regarding Computers In Library

Just wondering, if I have my laptop and bring it into the library and plug a patch lead into the internet connections there...
Am I able to print off from the big college printers in the library?
Or am I not hooked up to the network of printers at all?

It depends on how the printers are set up, you'd have to ask a technician to see.

Dont you have to pay to use them printers? If you do I'd imagine there linked to the desktop computers only.

Yeah, you have to pay to use them,
but you input your details into the printers in order to use them.

And do you know how your exact print is Que'd then?

It sounds like its still linked to your account?

Don't think you can print with the lan connection. I remember I used to bring in a laptop, pre-wireles,s and you couldn't log on to the actual network i.e. the M: Drive or printers:confused:
