Am I the only one who preferred the "Today's Paper" section that listed all the articles vertically?

Now you have to try and find each article in the various sections of the website.

I don't want to read the ePaper....if I wanted to read it that way, would I not just buy the paper?

Or is this their way of making people pay for their news?

Agreed. The new format is way to ugly and annoying to use. I much prefer to get the email format in my inbox with all the headlines and topic sentences in clear view.

Meh. Im not that fussed though-for the past year or so the Irish times has been going downhill. Most of the time i just skim the front page, the opinions and letters to the editor section-most of it a bit too BS for my taste.

Yes, and it isn't at all clear to me if there is only going to be a paid version on line. There is mention of a free trial.

they'd it harder to use in order to make you pay for it, even though you can still use it free.

    So it's not just me!

I'll see if I can mention it to someone as I write for the paper occasionally.

    Exactly.

I don't know how they expect anyone to pay for that.

In the past, I have paid for the subcription service before. I would imagine the epaper is aimed at the market where you cannot get the real paper (like here!).

I would not subscribe now though

RSS feeds of the entire paper (though divided into sections) are still available. These are perhaps better as you can see a little summary of the story without having to click through.

    http://www.irishtimes.com/feeds/rss/

This does pretty much the same job as the old “Today's Paper” section.
