iphone on vodafone simply??

Hey quick question, was considering getting an iphone but dont want to be committed to a long contract or pay the very high price on pay as u go. Was just wondering has anyone bought one on ebay and used it with vodafone simply plus the 10 euro extra data package???? Is it a similar experience??? cheers

I got one on adverts and have been using it with vodafone pay as you
go for around 6 months at this stage.

I don't find my costs to be that much higher using the data features
every day. I don't use any heavy bandwidth applications though.

I don't see the point in the data package unless you are going to be
using video/music apps the whole time.

I'm also interested in going this route.

Prunch, don't wanna hijack your thread - but worth asking what to look out for / avoid on second hand iphones. Are there any that just won't hook up to vodafone once you get your hands on one?

(I'm looking into this and will let you know if I find anything...)
